ELECTRIC MOPED
Short range, low speed motorcycles, especially in the moped category, are highly suited to electric powertrains and the current battery technology. The just announced 2022 CAKE Makka is a perfect example of this. Designed as “light and convenient urban shuttles, for short-haul commercial transportation as well as for commuting needs”, the Makka will be available with a variety of add-ons, like camping bags, surfboard rack, carry basket, or child seat, to support different use cases. Top speed of 45km/h (for the flex model) and a range of 25 to 50 km, depending on the model.
