AN INTERSTELLAR EXPERIENCE
The 1970’s Voyager spacecraft carried a golden record, called the Voyager Interstellar Record, as a universal message from Earth. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Voyager spacecraft, a vinyl reproduction of this famous record has been created, the Ozma Record’s The Voyager Golden Record, that “tells a story of our planet expressed in sounds, images, and science,” including music from different peoples and eras, natural sounds from birds, a passing train, a baby’s cry, and even a kiss, greetings in fifty-five languages, and “more than 100 images encoded in analog that depict who, and what, we are.” Available as a three LP box set with a book and fine art print.
