NEW RC MODEL
What do you get if you take an Italian street fighter and splice in some sports bike DNA? One answer could be the new 2017 Reparto Corse model MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC. MV Agusta make beautiful bikes, there’s no question about that, aggressive in look and standing, performance based with broad appeal, but made for a relatively small section of the bike community. On the performance side, the 800 RC’s three-cylinder engine produces 140 hp at 13100 rpm that is managed by an electronic control unit giving the owner four rider modes, including one that allows complete parameter-by-parameter customisation (including motor response, rev limiter, engine torque management, throttle sensitivity, and engine braking). As with most lightweight race heritage bikes, the 800 RC features sports bike style graphics, an array of new carbon fibre components, performance Sachs rear suspension, and a braking system from Brembo. Only 350 bikes will be made.
