NEW POINT-AND-SHOOT
Sitting between a fixed lens compact and a mirrorless or small DSLR camera, Panasonic’s new high-end point-and-shoot camera, the Lumix DMC ZS100, is packed with features and capability that make it an attractive travel camera option. The ZS100 is lightweight and compact, has a large 1 inch sensor and 10x (25-250mm) F/2.8-5.9 lens made by LEICA, a manual type lens-mounted control ring, and an eye-level electronic viewfinder. Other features include 4K Ultra HD video recording and LUMIX 4K PHOTO mode, an interesting feature that allows in-body “4K Post Focus photo capture” where photos can be extracted from video.
