NEW CAMERA
Weighing a measly 63 grams, and about two-thirds the size of Sony’s standard Action Cam, the HDR-AZ1VR Action Cam Mini is small in stature but large in features. It uses Sony’s XAVC S 50mbps codec to capture high bit-rate full HD video through a 170 degree wide angle lens. The camera is rated to IPX4, splash-proof and tough, with the option to fit a waterproof housing capable of water immersion to depths of 5 metres. A wrist-mounted Live-Review remote has a screen display that “not only lets you view shots, but also fully control and adjust settings, playback and delete footage whilst the camera is mounted on your head or handlebars.”
