VINTAGE STYLE
Waxed cotton fabric was invented over two hundred years ago as sailcloth based cloaks in Scotland. Although there are various modern fabrics that perform similar functions, the waxed cotton fabric has a unique look and vintage appeal. For 2014, well known Italian motorcycle gear company Spidi have crafted their Worker Wax H2OUT Jacket using an Egyptian cotton outer fabric waterproofed with linseed oil. As a three layer system jacket, the Worker Wax has an inner thermal padding layer and a waterproof and breathable H2OUT membrane. The garment has Forcetech crash protectors for the shoulders and elbows and is designed to accommodate the Spidi Back Warrior, Chest and Thorax Warrior protectors. In hot climates, rider comfort can be controlled through chest intake vents and back air extractor openings. The jacket is a sports touring, short and slim cut European fit.
