Benelli is a famous name in motorcycling, established in Pesaro, Italy over one hundred years ago. Now part of the Chinese moto company Qianjiang Group, Benelli have a range of road bikes and scooters with the Benelli BN302 their newest model, due for release later this year. Although designed for the youth market, the BN302’s twin-cylinder, 4-stroke electronic fuel injected engine produces a respectable 37 Hp (27 kW) at 11500 rpm. Bolted to a tubular trellis frame, reflecting its Italian heritage, the engine runs through a 6-speed gearbox. A side mounted mono-shock and low slung exhaust gives this ‘entry-level’ bike additional character.
