Taking design ideas from medical IV delivery bags, the Platypus GravityWorks 2L Water Filter is a pump-free water filtration system that you setup and let gravity power the filtration process. Benefits for motorcyclists include a light weight system, at 325g (11.5 oz) for the complete kit, and a compact storage form. The system filters 1.5 litres per minute and “meets all EPA & NSF guidelines for the removal of Bacteria and Protozoa, including Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E. coli, Salmonella and Cholera.”
