ALL NEW TWO-STROKER
KTM’s all new Freeride 250 R bridges the gap between their competition-based Enduro machines (EXC) and the non-competitive, fun based four-stroke Freeride 350 to provide a lightweight dirt bike for “maximum off-road pleasure,” says KTM. For riders addicted to two-stroke dirt bikes, the new 2014 Freeride 250 R is powered by an altered 250 EXC engine, featuring a new cylinder with ports and timings to produce a “pleasant torque response to make it easier to ride.” Significant weight savings over the EXC version and a new low noise exhaust system also make the 250 R a good choice for general weekend type off-road riding.
