GARMIN VIRB ACTION CAMERA

Best known for their GPS enabled Sat Navs and related outdoors products, Garmin have now entered the action camera market with a high end POV camera. The Garmin VIRB action camera is packed with technology, featuring a 1080p sensor with digital image stabilisation and electronic correction of lens distortion, in a rugged and waterproof (IPX-7) housing. A very useful feature is the inbuilt 1.4-inch colour display to enable correct framing and setup for filming, along with playback viewing. Other features include built-in WiFi, data sensors (accelerometer & altimeter) and a GPS. The camera comes in two models and will be available in September.
