ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT CARBON LID
Carbon fibre as a construction material was invented in the late 1950s. Although it has been used extensively in some industries, high performance America’s Cup yachts come to mind, as a structural component carbon fibre is not often used in the motorcycle industry. However a few manufactures make motorcycle helmets with carbon fibre. The Speedmaster Carbon, by Joe Rocket, is a lightweight modern helmet with an all carbon shell that weighs 1.4kg. Additional features include a Quadport 2.0 ventilation system, anti-fog face shield and removable interior with QUICKDRY technology. The carbon fibre outer shell has a gel-coated finish to show off its construction material.
