CONVERT YOUR KTM OR HONDA TO AWD
Christini All Wheel Drive Motorcycles, based in Philadelphia, USA, have an innovative technology to convert your late model KTM or Honda (model dependent) to an all wheel drive bike. Their system is all-mechanical rather than electric or hydraulic, utilising rigid drive components via a power take-off at the front drive sprocket, chain driven to a power deliver system that mechanically drives the front hub. The front wheel is driven, on demand, at about 80% of the rear wheel when one-way clutches in the front hub engage; as the rear wheel loses traction the AWD system engages. When traction is re-established the front hub and wheel freewheel until needed.
