Beauty competitions aren’t normally associated with motorbikes. Bikes can certainly have aesthetic appeal and most bike-builders have a sensibility for aesthetics light years ahead car manufacturers. MV Agusta’s new Rivale 800, shown at the 2012 EICMA, has been voted ‘most beautiful of show’ gaining 35.5% of votes. Outside its obvious good looks, this beast weighs in at 170kg and is powered by an in-line three-cylinder engine, rated at 125 hp, along with various hi-tech components such as Full Ride-By-Wire throttle control.
