A UNIQUE RIDING JACKET BY HIT-AIR
Airbags have been a mandatory safety feature in cars for many years. Now one Japanese company has an interesting implementation of this technology - the airbag jacket. The design is based on a reusable, inflatable air bag system integrated into a motorcycle jacket. Activated via a coiled wire attached to your bike, the airbag inflates within 0.5 seconds when about 30kg of force is applied, releasing air from a small gas cartridge and engaging the protection system. The airbag inflates and provides additional padding and protection for the rider. Developed by Hit-air of Japan for motorcyclists, the airbag technology is also available for horse riders, specifically equestrian type riders.
